Vineyards

Based in Upper Moutere, in the Nelson/Tasman region of New Zealand, we have a home vineyard of 4.8 hectares, planted with 14 different varieties. The original plantings were Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Syrah. Since then we have also planted Albariño, Mtsvane, Chenin Blanc, Vermentino, Nebbiolo, Gamay Noir and Cabernet Franc.

The home vineyard is entirely moutere clay, surrounded by bush and forrest with rolling and sometimes steep aspects, giving it a unique terroir. All our vineyards are managed organically with organic certification through Biogro New Zealand since 1998.
